After working for 4 years for several leading european architectural offices such as
h. e. i. z. haus and coophimmelb(l)au I formed kumaroffice ltd. focusing on competitions, interiors and small scale architectural projects. After 8 years of dynamic hand on design I decided to complement my creative practice with further academic research.
My studies focus on an exploration and examination of the tension between tactile and digital techniques of architectural conceptual processes, and attempt to identify and describe emerging post-digital traditions and phenomena . I currently also teach architecture and design at The University of Auckland.
I am happy to announce the fresh start of a new design studio KUKADESIGN together with arch. Mariana Kadinova. The new brand is aims to merge the experience of two design enthusiasts and create inspiring spaces.
